The sea view was stunning, yet the room decor felt dated.

Decent stay with some quirks
Had a decent stay, but room 216 was a disaster, the shower was worse than getting rained on outside! The bathroom door was tricky too. Staff were friendly, but the checkout felt a bit rushed. Dinner was nice, but breakfast didn’t impress. The lounge had some cool old stuff, could use less 80s furniture though.

The location is brilliant, right by the beach and bustling with unique shops and eateries. Our sea view room was spacious, and we loved exploring the local boutiques and grabbing a boat trip to Puffin Island. Perfect for a family getaway with my girlfriend!
In my wife’s opinion, the dining options could be more kid-friendly.

We had a lovely stay with a cozy double room that was just the right size. The cooked breakfast every morning was a real treat. The room was really comfy, with nice views of the sea and big windows. breakfast was super tasty and fresh, loved the local art displays too. the staff were all really friendly and helpful, made us feel welcome. the hotel is in a prime location right by the pier, so it was easy to explore. i really liked the idea of a separate dining room with dogs, very thoughtful!
the bathroom needed some fixing up, and it was a bit noisy from outside. also, we noticed that the shower didn’t work that well during our stay.
